Any and every patron with a disability has the right to be accompanied by a service animal trained to assist with his or her specific disability. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times, and will accompany the person into his or her seating area rather than resting in the aisle. If the service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests, the patron and service animal may be escorted off the property. No other animals are allowed.
Guests may not sell any type of souvenirs, programs, food, and/or beverages in or on U.S. Cellular Center property. Guests also may not vend, solicit, or collect contributions for any purpose whatsoever or distribute handbills on the premises. This includes the covered patio area in front of the venue doors.
Unless the event is General Admission, everyone must sit or stand in the location that matches the section, row, and seat number on their ticket. Only one person is allowed to occupy a chair at a time, except for children under the age of two who may sit on the lap of an adult. Standing/sitting in the aisles, against the balcony rails, or in other restricted areas while an event is in progress is strictly prohibited.
The U.S. Cellular Center has a strict no refund policy on all ticketed events happening within its venues, including but not limited to the ExploreAsheville.com Arena and the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium. Events which are cancelled by the artist or promoter may be refunded through point of purchase; restrictions may apply. Please contact the USCC Box Office at 828-259-5736 with questions.

The U.S. Cellular Center offers limited Wheelchair Accessible and Companion, and Semi-Ambulatory seating in all of its venues. Accessible/ADA seating can be purchased from these designated locations online at www.ticketmaster.com. Please view accessible seating locations on the USCC seating charts. IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no elevator access for the balcony level of the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium. Patrons needing Wheelchair or Semi-Ambulatory seating, or those who are unable to take stairs, should purchase tickets for the lower level of the Auditorium.
A limited number of USCC wheelchairs are available at the Facilities on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you need an assisted listening device or a wheelchair please bring driver’s license or another form of identification to give to the medic in exchange for the assisted listening device/wheelchair. Assisted listening devices and/or interpreters should be requested well in advance of the event date.

Smoking is not allowed inside the Facilities by any patron or employee. During an event, please see staff for the designated smoking area outside the building.
The city of Asheville has an ordinance banning e-cigarettes on public facilities including the U.S. Cellular Center. E-cigarettes are still allowed in approved designated smoking areas outside of the building. During an event, please see staff for the designated smoking areas.
All lost and found items are turned in to the Event Coordinator throughout the event. During the event, you may ask staff about lost items. After the event, please call the USCC Box Office at 828-259-5736 Monday through Friday, 10AM to 5PM. The USCC is not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen, or damaged during an event.
Opening acts or guests may sometimes tour with headlining performers. We are not always made aware of opening acts or the length of their performances. Opening acts, as well as festival performers, are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. No refund will be owed if an opening act or festival performer is changed or cancelled.

Only guests 21 years of age or older may purchase alcoholic beverages in the U.S. Cellular Center. Guests must show proper photo identification (as defined by the NC Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission) and purchase a wristband prior to buying alcoholic beverages.
For most events held at the USCC, each guest (including children aged two years and older) entering the Facilities must have a ticket or the proper event credentials.
Guests who experience a problem with their ticket/s (i.e. lost, stolen, will not scan, etc.) should contact the USCC Box Office or see the Event Coordinator.
All guests are expected to maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. Guests engaging in disorderly conduct will be removed from the Facilities and may be subject to arrest. Guests who are removed for inappropriate conduct will not receive a refund for their ticket/s or be compensated in any way for their loss. Season/series ticket holders may also have their subscription/s revoked.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Violation of local, state, and/or federal laws and statues
- Violation of USCC event policies
- Drunk and disorderly conduct
- Indecent exposure or partial nudity (shirt, pants, and shoes must be worn at all times)
- Violence or aggression towards USCC staff and/or other patrons
- Entering or attempting to enter off-limits event areas (i.e. the field of play, stage, backstage, etc.) without permission
- Using profanity or offensive language towards other patrons, USCC staff, and/or event performers
- Willfully disturbing another guest or employee with loud and unreasonable noise
- Smoking in the Facilities or outside of the designated smoking areas
- Igniting or displaying open flame
- Throwing, discharging, or launching any liquid substances or other objects
- Standing on chairs or sitting on seat backs
- Carrying children on shoulders
Local law enforcement is present at every event. They, along with the event staff, will help ensure that guests who do engage in these prohibited actions do not interfere with the other guests’ ability to enjoy the event. We thank you for your cooperation.
It is at the discretion of the event whether cameras and/or audio recordings are allowed. Most events allow non-flash, still photography (e.g. disposable, digital, smartphones), and non-professional cameras (no removable lenses). Please call the USCC Box Office at 828-259-5736 to determine the camera policy for a specific event. If signs are not posted outside the Facilities at the time of the event, security and ticket takers will let you know the policy at the door. The USCC will not hold your camera if photo/video/audio is prohibited, you must take it back to your car.
The U.S. Cellular Center has a strict No Re-Entry policy. Guests who wish to return a prohibited item to their vehicle or need to exit and re-enter the building due to personal emergencies must first make contact with the Event Coordinator and/or event staff to make the necessary arrangements.
Certain day-long events (e.g. craft fairs, expos, trade shows, etc.) may have re-entry with a stamped hand. Please check with USCC staff on the specific event’s re-entrance policy before exiting the building.

For most events doors will open one hour prior to the event start time. Some events may have non-standard door opening times; you may receive specific information about the event by calling the USCC Box Office at 828-259-5736.
The U.S. Cellular Center does not have public restrooms. Restrooms are available to guests on event days after doors open.
For most events, the U.S. Cellular Center does not offer parking on its premises. Patrons must use one of the City garages, street lots, or metered parking spaces adjacent to the building. Please see our Parking Info page for more information.
All guests entering the Facilities are subject to a visual inspection and/or bag inspection conducted by USCC staff or contracted personnel. Some events may require a full pat-down search or metal detector screening. Prohibited items may be confiscated and guests may be escorted out of the facility without refund. If you elect not to consent to a voluntary search, you will be denied entry to the event and your ticket will be refunded at face value.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Weapons of any kind, including guns, knives, pepper spray/mace, flares, and fireworks
- Drugs and other illegal substances
- Outside food and beverage, including cans, bottles, flasks, and coolers
- Video or audio recording devices
- Noise making devices (i.e. air horns, drums, whistles, etc.)
- Flashlights, laser pointers, and other distracting light-producing objects
- Unapproved promotional pamphlets and/or product samples
- Wheeled conveyances other than wheelchairs and strollers (i.e. skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, etc.); strollers are not permitted in seating areas
- Large bags (i.e. backpacks, suitcases, luggage, etc); bags may not be larger than 12”x12”
- Signs, banners, posters, flags, etc. may not be larger than 11”x17” and may not be attached to a stick; these items also may not be hung or attached to any part of the building, display obscene/offensive language and/or images, or obstruct the view of other guests
- Other prohibited items: chairs, two-way radios, beach balls, balloons, permanent markers, and spray paint.
